Remember when seas of grass
Were all you had to hold an afternoon
And still the earth lost its grasp
Countless miles away from freedom in June
Just get through the night
Remember who you want to be
But try as you might
You’re losing your vitality
Don’t lose heart
It’s ok
The things that you thought brought colour
De-saturised and revoked of their life
The liquid has lost its flavour
And all the world can’t wait on its thirst
You tell yourself you will be fine
But you’re on your knees again
Everything you try to get right
Might not work out in the end
It’s ok
Just get through the night
Remember who you want to be
No end in sight
The pain is left to wander free
But try as you might
You’re losing your vitality
Don’t lose heart
It’s ok

To me, "Trip The Life Fantastic" was a must-buy on "Bandcamp Friday" this time. It's one of the few "Drifting Sun" albums not already found in my collection, and an essential one, because it marks the beginning of the prolific collaboration of composer/keyboardist Pat Sanders and lyricist/singer Peter Falconer, which was, in my opinion, the best creative pairing the band ever had.

At last and after a too long time on my wishlist this album has finally been bought ;-)
Clearly recommended to friends of classic Pink Floyd (rather think Wish You Were Here than The Wall or in other words rather think Gilmour/Wright than Waters). Carsten Pieper
