You’re underneath my skin
How I wish you’d stuck around then
To me
‘Cause I don’t recall your lips
Their weight, their taste or anything
The sound that they made
Tell me would give it all to me now?
Oh, like how you went and gave it all to him.
I don’t believe the mess I’m in
I could’ve gone somewhere
I could’ve got something more
I don’t need the stress of it
When I’m through with loving you
I just want to feel something
So, tell me would give it all to me now?
Oh like how you went and gave it all to him
‘Cause it’s still raining here, like it’s been for years
Teacup storms are brewing, brewing strong
Oh it’s a lonely road I chose
And I wonder if I’ll ever make it
Out of all this wilderness
Because it really doesn’t make much sense I know
And what makes it so much worse
Is I just can’t quite seem to let you go
So, tell me would you come and give it all to me now?
Oh, like how you went and gave it all to him.
‘Cause it’s still raining here, like it’s been for years
Teacup storms are brewing, brewing strong

To me, "Trip The Life Fantastic" was a must-buy on "Bandcamp Friday" this time. It's one of the few "Drifting Sun" albums not already found in my collection, and an essential one, because it marks the beginning of the prolific collaboration of composer/keyboardist Pat Sanders and lyricist/singer Peter Falconer, which was, in my opinion, the best creative pairing the band ever had.

At last and after a too long time on my wishlist this album has finally been bought ;-)
Clearly recommended to friends of classic Pink Floyd (rather think Wish You Were Here than The Wall or in other words rather think Gilmour/Wright than Waters). Carsten Pieper
